It's awesome seeing sheets already being made for the RP! I'm very excited to see how many people are interested in the story. I went ahead and made my GM-PC sheet, so folks could see how I tend to format my character sheets and also have a rough estimate on what I'm looking for in terms of style and length. He likes to act like he knows everything going on, and attempts to assert control on any situation, only to have it yanked out from under his feet. He's not a weasel per se, but instead a deeply insecure man who has let his self-doubt cloud his judgment. Beyond his prickly personality, Alan has a strong sense of honor and duty and believes in doing what is right. He just wants to be the one calling the shots when they save the world, instead of following the orders of someone far more capable than himself.
Backstory
Alan was born in the Northeastern United States to a scholarly family. His father was a linguist, and his grandfather was an archeologist who specialized in the study of Anglo-Saxon and Western European ruins and history. One major obsession his grandfather held was the sheer belief that the Arthurian cycle was not a myth and that there was proof of the Holy Grail and Excalibur. These wild assertations painted his grandfather as a kook, and while he held his position as an Ivy League professor for many years, it was during the 1980s the old man was finally forced out into retirement. Alan grew up hearing his grandfather's theories, much to his parent's chagrin. Alan would go on to study language and literature in college and would go on to complete graduate school as well. He's spent the past five years traveling the world and researching his findings, mostly dealing with artifacts from the Anglo-Saxon settlement of Britain. He remains very secretive of the groups he's worked with since, implying that he's had to deal with the dangerous sorts of employers that don't take kindly to others knowing what they're searching for. Getting a more legitimate job for the Avalon trip is both a chance to prove his worth as with his knowledge, as well as discover if his grandfather's theories were true. The weapon has below-average stopping power but is small enough to be carried comfortably and reliable enough in a pinch. Alan carries no extra ammunition or extra magazines, meaning reloading the weapon can be arduously slow. [*]Photographic Memory: Alan's biggest skill is that he possesses a photographic memory. He's able to recall minute details after only looking at something for a short amount of time. He's also capable of detailed recreations of items from memory.

[@Qitcat] As far as the party size goes, I want around 4-5 characters in total. As far as the timeline goes, when I see how many people have an interest and how much time they'll need to devise their sheets, I'll probably put a deadline out for having a finished sheet.
