Well muscled all over his body due to his years of training, though his time on the island has left many scars across his skin. He often wears clothing which hides these scars and marks for fear of how his family or friends might react to the truth of what he went through on that island.[/indent]

[indent]Upon meeting Oliver one might think he is a charismatic, charming, and good looking rich kid whose time alone made him regret his life choice. You would be half right, Oliver's time alone shaped what was once Star City's premiere playboy into a liar and charmer even beyond his former self. Ollie can not only lie but believe his own lies and through this is able to constantly protecting his identity as a super hero. Getting past Ollie's outward's joking and kindness, he is deep down kind but his time on the island did harden him to the realities of situations. Oliver choose not to kill solely out of a desire to be different than the League of Assassin's he learned from and to stop people rather than end them. Oliver can make hard calls and does them rather easily to outsiders, he is also not one to take being bullied lying down. [/indent]

[indent]Star City, home of Queen Consolidated Industries and the Queen family, Robert Queen, Oliver's father and founder of the company built it up. Queen Consolidated major business is in making weapons and arms, though Robert's time in the navy made him more interested in ship design. Moira Queen Robert's wife, would step up being far more business savy than her passionate husband who had made billions she divested the company and moved Queen Consolidated Industries into every branching field. Allowing them to compete, after Moira's husband died she ruled the company alone however after the return of her son and daughter, she restored her and Robert's will. Which when her untimely death occurred came into effect.[/indent]

[indent]Oliver Queen was born to Moira and Robert Queen, a good son by many accounts until his teenage years brought on a sharp change in his behavior. Oliver became known as a playboy in the tabloids, drinking and worse to excess until a car crash nearly killed him. Oliver decided to make amends and join his father on a small cruise to reconnect and distance himself from his worst tendencies awhile. This would be the last time he would ever truly bond with his father, two days into the trip they were struck by a massive storm which tore the boat apart. Robert and Oliver staying aboard as the other members of the crew readied life boats, Oliver and Robert climbed into the last one, being the first mate and captain they had ensured everyone else had escaped first per his father's wishes.

The storm would continue sending Robert over the side of the lifeboat and leaving Oliver alone with the survival kit and no knowledge save his small amount time spent camping as a child. However, luckily for Oliver he would wash up on Starfish Island as the American's knew or Lian Yu as the Chinese had referred to it. On that island, terrible and painful event's played out over Oliver's five years away he learned from a Mercenaries and his skills as an archer and fighter came mostly from one of the famed Long Bow Hunters of the League of Assassins. By the time he left that island, Oliver Queen had changed from billionaire playboy to battle hardened warrior who had survived the toughest things the island had thrown at him.

Finally Oliver returned home, returning to the United States one year ago Oliver planned to make a normal life for himself. To avoid conflict and focus on caring for his mother and sister, to try and create a legacy his father would be proud of. Yet Moira Queen had focused her efforts and expanding the family business, becoming ruthless without Robert's passion and concern to dull her cunning mind. Queen Industries as it was now known was making more money than offer and in turn had hurt many people in doing so, in an effort to maximize profits. As of six months a vigilante known as the 'The Hood' starting bringing in criminals to the Star city police department, alive. 

The first known use of the term, 'Green Arrow' was three months ago when Moira Queen was giving a speech after her son had convinced her to begin investing in philanthropy in her husbands name. An archer dressed in black, who claimed himself to Merlyn, tried to assassinate Moira Queen, dressed in emerald garments the Green Arrow shot this Dark Archer's arrow mid flight and they engaged in a duel. Merlyn lost, his bowstring cut by the Green Arrow's shot but Merlyn's aim had not been to win the duel but to finish the contract. Moira Queen's heart pierced a hundred feet behind Oliver, the Green Arrow had failed. Yet to the city, they believed he had protected them all from a greater threat and had saved hundreds of attendees.

The Green Arrow has appeared sporadically since then, with few people able to deduce why and where he will appear next, his most recent sightings however, have been in Central City. Perhaps chasing Merlyn or another grave threat, who can say? [/indent][/hider]
