As far as Niah could tell, Dalisy was still paralyzed. She made a mental note to not get on the wrong end of his power. "So, what happened to you?" Niah asked. Matt stepped into the room. Dalisy's focus landed on him. Niah sighed. "I don't know if she'll talk to me with you here." "You shouldn't be alone with her. She can teleport or something, and Strange-" Niah cut Matt off. "I know what Strange said, and I trust him. He has done more for this world than any of us will ever understand. I also think my sister might have something she wants to say to just me since we haven't seen each other since I was fifteen." Matt frowned, shrugged and stepped outside, but kept a watch from the other side of the mirror. Matt did look over at Thane and sighed, realizing they had never done anything to protect the man from Terriginesis. "Did you see him cocoon?" Matt asked the guard. He really hoped that since this wasn't the correct Thane, they didn't have to worry about the guy who had been in prison for starting fires by randomly getting powers. At least Strange had put the magical bonds on him, so Matt doubted it would matter. He shook his head, they had messed up big time. Now that they were alone, Dalisy spoke. "I remember dying. Then I was alive again but in a different world. I have these memories of eight years of training and..." She trailed off. Niah pursed her lips, picking up on the unsaid from her sister. They had been best friends. "Then I was in some other place, and mutants were in charge. I tried calling you. I had your number, and it rang or went to voicemail over and over." This time, Niah winced. "Sorry, that is my fault. I had to turn over my phone for some people to trust me, and I didn't know when I did turn it over that I wouldn't have a chance to talk to you. I wanted to, but things were just so much of a mess." Niah sighed. "Then what happened?" "When that ended, I was back in the Dalisy compound. I had to find you. I had to make sure you were okay. I came here, and there was all of this happening, and I had to get you out." "I'm not a prisoner here. I work here. I want to be here. You hurt people I care about today. You could have killed them." Niah shook her head. "I told you I can't protect you from the consequences of this. I am happy to see you, and maybe I can get a disposition for mom and dad to visit before you're transferred to the Raft. I'm sorry, sister. This is my fault. I shouldn't have meddled, but I saw an opportunity, and I took it." Niah didn't go into details. When a guard did show up, Matt let him take his place, and he went back to the Hanger to find out the plan.
