He could keep pushing through the pain, the adrenaline was working great. He watched in awe as Janelle killed one and seriously wounded the other before Kristin finished it off. Ezekiel looked around, double checking they were save, at least for the time before he pushed the hilt of the sword and it retracted back into the sun pendant. Ezekiel groaned as he brought himself to the ground and examined his wounds. Ezekiel opened up his pack and pulled out some disinfectant and cleaned up his hands before he gritted his teeth and plunged his fingers into his leg to remove the arrowhead. Blood soaked his pant leg and covered his fingers as Ezekiel fished out the arrowhead. Ezekiel breathed deeply, feeling a wave of dizziness but managed to give Kristin a sly look when she asked how he was doing. ”Better than the broken arm,” he joked. In his previous quest with Kristin, Ezekiel had broken a few bones, including his arm and he never wanted a broken bone again if he could manage it. Before Ezekiel took the offered nectar from Kristin, even though he had a bottle of his own, he plunged his fingers into his shoulder and removed the second arrow head. He took the nectar from Kristin with his uninjured arm and drank from it gratefully. ”Do you mind rinsing those off for me? I’ll keep them to craft new arrows,” Ezekiel explained to Kristin. After his wounds started to close up and the dizziness left him, he looked over at Janelle. ”Bad ass move back there stabbing the Centaur in the eye by the way. Some serious trust you have in your abilities that some of us are still having to learn,” he complimented. Sure, in the heat of battle all of the demi-gods natural abilities took over but they could still see what they were doing. They could trust more easily what they were doing in that sense.
