Thanks to the quick thinking of some of the other patrons, a bulk of the flying horde fell, not dead but asleep. This should make slaying them easy. Emphasis on [i]should[/i]. Yaj moved in closer to one of the sleeping striges, the one next to a troll, brandishing his spear with both hands. Hefting his weapon above his head Yaj stabbed his spear downwards, but much to his disappointment realized that he [i]missed a sleeping target[/i], making him unable to not only cast his melee cantrip, but utterly fail to kill an unconscious insect.
