[@Uromastyx] The Followers of the Apocalypse do still exist, though are mostly a West Coast faction they did send out people to go out and help others. They aren't heavily covered outside of Fallout and Fallout New Vegas, so if you'd like to expand on them or ideas on how they might travel I'm willing to work on that concept.
