Ember saw the bunny before she saw the bloodmage. She was just starting to consider burning the entire forest to the ground when it suddenly opened into a clearing. The bunny and its fluffy tail blocked her way. She glowered darkly at it. "Stupid creature," she muttered. "Shoo." Then her eye caught the brightly coloured, caped, doll-faced man behind it. He was beautiful in a gothic kind of way, which explained why Ember took an immediate dislike to him. "You," she said, raising her staff. "I've been hunting you for many days and nights, blood mage. Prepare to meet your end."
