Kai couldn’t exactly tell what it might have been; he hadn’t been listening out so much as he had been trying to look out for it. If there was unknown noise that didn’t sound like systems restarting then it was definitely something that was going to be a negative on their part. He almost wanted to call in and see what was going on, but quite frankly he didn’t know who he was supposed to call in to or whether they even knew about a monster. It would had probably been a good idea to call in and warn them about it, but then again if they hadn’t met up with it quite yet then they couldn’t possibly get hurt. Choi didn’t know if he had heard anything; he might had heard something, but quite frankly he was too distracted to had been listening out. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little when he mentioned it was far off, his first thought going straight to the hanger. He really did hope that nobody had ended up running into it, but he figured they should probably head in that direction and find out. He really did hope that the hanger was alright, especially when it was such a delicate area. With no Ki signatures sparking up at all, it meant the soldiers hadn’t caught wind of their presence on the ship thankfully. With the twins both jogging after Takeshi, Kai continued to look back and try to see if there was anything coming from behind. He didn’t want to be ambushed with the noise simply being a distraction; it was definitely not something they were used to. The monster was possibly smart; it was something they couldn’t put down as a possibility with them going on a wild goose chase. Frowning a little Kai eventually looked back, moving a little faster, “It’s best we skip by the hanger before going full circle to the engine room, just incase things aren’t blowing up there instead”, he spoke quickly, looking back again, “It’s a pretty vital part of the ship and if that’s what’s blowing up, then we might as well abandon this place”. Viral had managed to cut the beast, but its reaction had caused it to shift and avoid being killed completely. Being forced to move away to try and get ready to fight again, he watched the weird leg dissipate into nothing before his attention went straight back to the beast. He hadn’t seen something like that before, but then again there was many things in this universe that was strange, himself included. Looking to Vegeta, he narrowed his gaze slightly before his attention went straight back to the monster, bringing his cleaver up. If he could chop off its head then it should do the same and considering that was the most important part of it, even if it could move around without one regarding the possibilities, it wouldn’t be able to attack or try to eat him. Watching the creature make an attempt to get up, Viral’s attention went to Vegeta as he pointed out the obvious. That was a little annoying, he could see what was happening so he wasn’t blind to that. Growling a little, he immediately went for the monster, holding his cleaver tight in hand as he threw down an attack; however, with a short stuttering pause his attack slowed down, his joints becoming stiff as if he had received an electric shock before he pulled back, stumbling a little. He didn’t have enough energy of his own, his lack of food and sleep catching up with him and his energy-dependent body.
