[@Lord Wraith]
0 0 5 || W H A T K I N D O F P O W E R S C A N I U S E ? Powers will initially be undefined. Your character will have a latent talent related to their ancestry that they may or may not be aware of. As the IC progresses and your character grows, they may begin to further develop their abilities and have a more substantial powerset based on the rules of magic in this world.
Are there any powers that will be off-limits?
Good catch, the wording on that one is actually incorrect on my part. I missed it when editing, so it has been corrected to the following:
0 0 5 || W H A T K I N D O F P O W E R S C A N I U S E ? The ideal powersets will be those which allow the character to affect the world around them. Powers which leave the character with physical deformities will be given a low priority in acceptance as the RP is based on the players attending a public school. Throughout the RP, the character's abilities will grow so they should be written with development in mind.
In light of that, obvious physical deformities (ie scales, wings etc) are in fact off limits. Further more power levels will be heavily scrutinized. We're not looking for 'Superman' or even 'Spider-Man' all for one characters. I generally like to reference Marvel Netflix's The Defenders as an example. Each character should have a defined strength but should also have weak points where other characters can cover them.
