Suddenly, a hand breaks through the wall, grabbing Captain Awesome by the neck. How could this be? God's Eye warned him of all nearby things. This shouldn't be happening! For a moment, Awesome is shocked, unable to even fight back. Wiper takes the chance. He's gone, and reappears in an odd kind of cage. He touches the edge, and his finger is nearly ripped off. A cage made of a vacuum. No electricity can travel in it. He shouted and cursed, as he realized he'd been trapped. No power he had could cross the vacuum barrier, so easily generated. Then the Death Priest, presumably the creator of the vacuum, gestures, and the entire cage becomes a vacuum. Awesome's one weakness. No escape, no defense. He was torn apart, ripped to shreds. And that was the end of the Captain. Kami smiled as her Death Priest finished his work. She had simply needed a distraction great enough for Captain Awesome to be unable to react for a second, and Ghastly had been perfect. Being dead, he gave off no electronic signal. The massive demon battle had hidden her Death Priest, and Wiper had moved him in position. An elegant trap to destroy the most powerful meta in Hope in a single, deadly swing. No power could compare to tactics, and Captain Awesome had lost on the scale of planning. Light had been a Wild Card, and so had the other metas. But it had gone off perfectly. Now, Kami decided, it was time for her to make her finishing move. It was endgame, and all the chips were down. The demons would wipe each other out, and then she would step in. Wiper disappeared, leaving the area. Appearing in front of Abbadon and Appolyon, it portalled both out, moving them to a remote area on the sea. Before they were able to react, it launched the twenty nuclear bombs it had acquired on the warships, and blew the entire area to smithereens, reappearing on the Awesome Tower to avoid being caught in the blast. Wiper then turned to the remaining metas, flexing it's fingers. It would finish off any who would not serve Kami, either as freelance agents or as Death Priests, depending on Kami's will. However, it had specific orders not to harm those who had already pledged themselves to Kami. Below, Jacque and Warp, two of Kami's most powerful Death Priests, moved towards Moonbeam. While Warp fought off a number of demons, blurring through the air, Jaque moved towards Moonbeam, removing his silver mask. He'd been healed and refitted by Kami's men. "Excuse me, miss. We have orders from Kami to escort you safely to the Citadel of Tears. If you would please follow us?" Multiple other Death Priests were appearing, working together to exterminate the demons that had survived the slaughter and were now leaderless, thus opening a path for Moonbeam and her escort. "Do not worry, no harm will befall you, and you have the full right to refuse. However, Kami would like to speak to you once more."
