Cassandra grunted as she walked deep into the woods, a little bit depressed at seeing all the other witchlings there with their parents. She would have liked nothing more than to have her parents with her, but fate had conspired to make that impossible long ago. Still, as she thought about it, the coven had become her family. And today, she was going to make that the truth. It was one of the extremely rare days she could get away with not being gloomy and keep her reputation. Sometimes, it did pay to be a little happy. The witch brushed a pale hair out of her eyes and looked around at the assembled youngsters, feeling the electric crackle of raw, untapped magic cutting through the trees. I never thought it would actually come.[/i][/color] Cassandra picked out a plate stacked to the sky with barbecue- her figure wasn’t exactly high on her list of priorities right now.
