Calypso swiveled in her seat to face Dakota, smiling brightly. [color=#e9dd25]"Kota! It's been forever, c'mere."[/color] Before Dakota knew it, Calypso had wrapped her in another bone-crushing hug. She let go after a few seconds, stepping back. [color=#e9dd25]"Of course I'm excited. I bet you are, too."[/color]  Calypso, true to her words, was practically vibrating with excitement. She couldn't stop herself from fidgeting with her hands and tapping her feet, and she couldn't keep a smile off her face. It was also nice to see her friends (or kind of friends), like Dakota, again- they didn't see each other too often. Calypso, although she hadn't talked to her much, liked Dakota. [color=#e9dd25][i]Ah, fuck.[/i][/color] Calypso's smile faltered a little as Summer appeared, and then Charlie right after. She internally groaned. They were two of the largest dickwads their age, and Calypso had never liked talking to them. Not since they were children, at least. She half-noticed Rowan- another person she didn't mind- but instead of greeting her, she waved to Summer and Charlie. She moved towards Summer to wrap the both of them in another crushing bear hug. [color=#e9dd25]"Summer, Charlie, Rowan. It's great to see you guys, too! It's been [i]way[/i] too long."[/color] She laughed a little at Charlie's comment, releasing them from the hug. [color=#e9dd25]"Well, some people live so far, you know. Not like the food's running out anytime soon, though,"[/color] she joked. The food and drink were, in fact, not running out- it seemed that plenty of food had been bought, and there were plenty of platters out and ready.  

[color=#e9dd25]"Speaking of, anyone wanna run over and grab some food with me? That zucchini looks amazing. Wouldn't wanna be hungry for the ceremony..."[/color] She pointed over to the tables. She was a bit peckish, that was true, but she also didn't particularly want to talk to the more bitchy initiates.
