[indent]Biff, in most aspects of his life, is honest to a fault. Lies that he’s practiced for a while come naturally to him but on the spot fibbing is stricken with an awkward pause or stammer. Despite his profession as gun-for-hire Biff sees himself more as a glorified body guard than a cold hearted killer. He tries to keep situations light with his positive  outward demeanour to mixed results.

Growing up Bartholomew didn’t have any passion of becoming a globe-trotting treasure hunter. His goals were based locally, wanting to become a police officer like his mother when he got older. However he was notoriously bad at his school work throughout his life and after more than a few attempts at the police exam, he gave up on his dream. The physical portions of the test were a breeze but his written test scores barred him from making his way onto the force. He left home and for a short time became a drifter, making his way across the country before stumbling his way into mercenary work. He didn’t see much action in his new line of work but the teams he was assigned to proved to be (for the most part) successful, giving Biff a good reputation in the world of mercenary work. Now instead of patrolling the cold streets of his hometown he’s watching over the likes of archaeological digs in the old world.

[indent] - Biff doesn’t have any personal weapons of his own but he’s more than skilled in hand-to-hand combat and all manner of small and large arms.
- Biff hails from the great white north
- Though he was never great in school history and mythology was his favourite thing to learn about, hence his inclusion in the Avalon trip at his request.
- He works for Armitage Security, a fairly well known mercenary group known for it’s clients getting good ‘bang per buck’.
- Upon becoming a mercenary, Biff changed his name to Biff Smith in an attempt to not have his reputation affect his family.
