[hr]Surviving the Dragon's fiery wrath, Gwen sustained third degree burns due to the inconvenient elemental matchup. Everyone else managed to scathe the beast with consecutive attacks but to Gwen, this event just brought back scars found deep within her heart. Her vigor from earlier became a shell of its former self as black marks covered her skin.

The people she cared for were hurt yet thriving for life but darkness took a bite of Gwen's heart, voices in her head spiraled like crippling depression. She stood petrified against the nostalgic situation that whispered inside her head, she clenched her fists because of the essence triggered by the draconic fiend. The image of death projected from her hallucinating vision, she can hardly breathe due to the abominable fear throbbing in her chest.

Gwen continued breathing abnormally and unto her knees, she saw a vision of her little self who stood by and watched lambs, slaughtered. It's as if her younger self was condemning the present Gwen for her shortcomings. She flicked her wrist and erased these twisted imagery within her mind and found herself in an imagery where a heart was broken.

Freezing every image against her path, Gwen finally found herself in the ocean's shore. The black marks reversed and that includes her purple eyes. Before she knew it, the fight was over and felt bad for contributing nothing. 

For the first time, Gwen began to feel an inferiority complex against her guild members. Having that unwanted feeling, Gwen drenched it with her superiority complex within her thoughts.[i]'[color=004b80]Who am I kidding? They are S-Class, of course Grasidia and Holly defeated this Etherious Demon. Ha..ha...ha. I'm a Devil Slayer of all things yet I have again failed to kill a demon.[/color]'[/i]

Gwen held into her heart and trembled once more in her knees. [i][color=0072bc]They...I shouldn't even be here...[/color][/i] The build up of her emotional stress and anxieties caught up.

Gwen fainted.
