Honestly I just put it in cuz it was the only legit Saber qualification XD. I mean when your surrounded by 4 monster swordsman and get stuck with torture and army battles it's hard to find a saber qualification. I mostly really planned to be a stat monster that kept boosting himself and his summons to really get that tactician of the Shinsengumi feel.
