Uaithne CinĂ¡ed Fearghal Orvar
Uaithne cackled in mischievous delight as Maggie gasped and briefly lost her balance. She dropped her book into the bushes, unfortunate since it put the book beyond his reach as it fell. He stopped cackling to retort to her protest regarding his sneaking. "Apparently, Miss Wilson, I most certainly can. Otherwise you wouldn't be upset with me!" He resumed cackling even as he jumped down to find her book for her. He wasn't heartless after all. He wrinkled his nose at the subject matter, he didn't much care for dystopian society books. It was very... Bland to his imagination. Still, it was probably better than text books. He paused his searching to consider the question, before tossing the answer over his shoulder. "Actually, they are. I think everyone is trying not to worry about the initiation, so they're too distracted to properly mess with each other... Well, except for me. Obviously, I'm not worried." Uaithne chuckled as he resumed his search. It didn't take long, the book had caught upon a branch of the bush. He pulled it out carefully, and flipped to the page Maggie had been reading from before he interrupted her reading. Then he turned and handed the open book up to Maggie, standing a little to one side just incase she was tempted to plant a foot in face for his terrorizing. "I think this was the page you were on. And I am pretty sure none of the initiates will complain if you come read at the table. We're not rabid you know... At least not yet, maybe after tonight though... Anyway, you should come over say hello before everyone shows up. Then everyone would be watching you walk over to your seat. You look good in that sundress by the way." He rambled on a bit, as he tried not to notice how close his face was to her lap on the vertical scale. Finally realizing he was rambling, he clamped his mouth shut and climbed up the railing to sit beside Maggie so he wouldn't have to think about her legs ... Um, anyway. He stared away from the party as he kicked his feet in tandem, watching the wind in the tree tops. It was a really nice day.
