"Angie!" he piped up suddenly, racing back over to his downed girlfriend. Grace had valiantly struggled to keep Angie from doing anything stupid, and she currently had the wilted young lady in her arms. The two locked eyes for a moment, and Grace reluctantly handed her over, Blake scooping up Angie princess-style. "Fuck..." he groaned as he looked down at her leg. Grace's jacket was now soaked through with blood (not to mention very ruined). Blake held her against him as he looked around. Where was Christina with reinforcements? Christina with reinforcements arrived moments later. They arrived very quickly and professionally, entering the mansion swiftly, and in what felt like no more than a minute, the men wearing black body armor and similar black helmets with sleek blue visors had filled the entire mansion. Downstairs as well, Division X ground soldiers filed into the area. Since there was nothing to apprehend down there, thanks to Zee's rampage, they simply spoke into their comms, barking orders in what seemed to be either gibberish or code. Following the Division X taskforce was a few men and women with white and red armor that indicated their status as medics. Blake reluctantly handed Angie over to one of the medics that looked at him knowingly, as she was taken off the premises towards a sleek-looking ambulance. Last to arrive was Christina herself, in similar-looking black armor, a pair of blue goggles resting on her forehead, an assault rifle dangling from her back and a silenced pistol in her hand. She walked out to the backyard where Vinnie was, quickly checking pulse and breathing, before tapping him a few times and looking over to some of the Division X people. Vinnie was promptly hauled out by the strength of 6 Division X members towards a hearse parked on the edge of the premises. As medics and Division X members wandered around, examining the insides of the mansion and attempting to assist the injured heroes, Christina made her way over to Patricia, immediately enveloping the girl in a tight hug. "You did great," she praised the teen, before releasing her, looking down at Patricia. "Don't look glum. You've finished a criminal empire that we've never managed to take down for years. That's got to count for something, right?" Christina examined Patricia's face. "C'mere." Reaching down to grab Patricia's hand, Christina guided Patricia over to the corner of the yard, away from most of the Division X people, leaning against the shed that Grace had portaled into just a few hours ago. Christina looked down at our watch. Just before midnight. The sun had set, a crisp but not total darkness having fallen across the city, with several lanterns and torches Vinnie had placed around his property illuminating the area nicely. Christina looked at Patricia, folding her arms. "I can tell that you have something to say. What's going on?" she asked, continuing to look at Patricia. Christina was insightful for sure, and she tapped her foot as she implored for a response. "I know something's going on and that head of yours. And if this is your concern, now might not be the best time to come out. Maybe wait until, like, a nice gathering or something. Fourth of July, maybe?" [@canaryrose][@KaijuBaragon][@Amethyst][@Danvers][@Infinite Cosmos][@Shard][@DClassified][@Scarifar][@Jumbus][@Rabidporcupine]
