[hr][hr][/center][color=lightgray]Attending the assembly was a decision that Charlie had ended up regretting rather quickly. Even if someone put a gun to his head, there was no way he would've been able to give you a summary of what happened. He had pieces, like how Halloween was coming up soon, or how breakfast was in the morning. He was spaced out for the most part, and even though he was there, he wasn't [i]actually there.[/i] The lights were on, but nobody was home. Charlie had quickly determined that this was a waste of time, and it showed with how vacant the expression on his face was while Dr. Wayman was talking.

Finally, it seemed like the assembly was over and Charlie was free from the hell that was that auditorium and having to listen to information that was mostly irrelevant. The only thing that had piqued Charlie's interest was the supposed scavenger hunt that was set to be occurring soon. Canceled classes was something he would always welcome, combined with the fact that there was actually something to do. Maybe he could meet some people along the way and make some better friends.

Figuring he didn't have much else to do, he thought he would go take a peek at the bulletin board to see what the teams were like. There was a good chance that he was going to be placed with someone he didn't know, but having someone he was more familiar with would've been really nice. He was hoping that he'd be with Tyler or Bradley, because that would've made things infinitely better. But, as he arrived at the bulletin board, he found that neither would be the case. [i][color=73c2fb]Billie Jean and Erica, huh?[/color][/i] Charlie thought to himself.

Turning around and walking away, Charlie was suddenly filled with the urge to start singing the aptly titled Michael Jackson song as he made his way back to his dorm. He wasn't familiar with either of them, but he had a slight feeling that it wasn't going to be the case after the scavenger hunt.
