Like her, but brown eyed)
Ayuka Eiruni

Name: Ayuka Eiruni Age:18 Gender:Female Personality: ● Snarky ● Hot-Headed ● Calculating ● Soft Spot for Children ● Curious ● Impulsive ● Ashamed ● Honorable Background: Born to Fire Nation Nobles, Ayuka was raised with the ideals of the Fire Nation. Of being noble to all, brave in the face of danger and honorable no matter the circumstances. Growing up then, she was proud of being of the Fire Nation, and took delight in her firebending. She set forth to learn all about it she could, training herself to be a master of her power. Then one day, she learned of how the Fire Nation terrorized the world for a hundred years, and of the scars that still lay on the land from that time that only Avatar Aang was able to end. Her worldview shattered. Had everything her parents taught her been a lie? She sought to repress her bending, ran away from home, and retreating as far from her heritage as she could. Since the Fire Nation had been so horrid, she'd refuse to be part of it! However, the more she refused, the more her powers became unstable and burnt the woods around her. The more she destroyed, the more ashamed of herself she became and the cycle continued from there. Until finally, she ran into a cave and cried, wishing she wasn't a fire bender anymore. A kindly old man came to her, asking why she didn't want the gift she was born with. She just cried and yelled about how it was an evil curse, not a gift. The man though came close and talked with her, helping her to see that that wasn't the case. After that talk, her parents finally found her. She ran into their arms and the family embraced, reuniting finally then returning home. As she became older, she still struggled with what the Fire Nation had done in the past and those that did look evilly at those of Fire Nation descent for what had happened. But she also found a new love for her powers and the good parts of her heritage, and resolved to be an example of a Fire Bender that brought balance to the world. And so, she became a proficient firebender, impressing even the old man that had been coming by that way. He told her that she would have a place among the White Lotus if she wanted to join. The idea stuck with her and she applied, using her parents' connections and that of the old man to help out in the endeavour. Through that and a demonstration of her prowess, she joined the White Lotus, vowing to her parents that she'd be everything a Fire Bender should be.
