Julie D’Aubigny ‘la Maupin’ - Famous fencer of the more modern era. Known for her great skill in dueling, spent her life running around and causing trouble, keeping very in-depth memoirs of her life, and being an arsonist. The flexible sort who can be either a solid saber, or a competent assassin.  
Jason - Simply the worst. (Canon)
Sun Quan - Emperor of the Wu Dynasty of Ancient China. Survived the deaths of his brother and father, and was one of the last great heroes of the era. He had little success, but he ruled over what was probably the most stable of the three kingdoms by forging temporary alliances with the other warring kingdoms. Is he a success? A failure? Only he knows how he really thinks on the matter.
Edgar Allen Poe - The father of gothic horror. A great author, but one who suffers from a famous case of character assassination. Rewritten as an evil man, he is perhaps the most famous author in the world. Though Hans and Shakespeare maybe disagree. But at least they never wrote about that damn orangutan. 
John Dee - Book Keeper, Spymaster, mystic? The life of John Dee is quite spectacular, and despite his library being long gone, he once possessed some of the most powerful mystical texts in the world.

Abraham Lincoln - American President who qualifies as both a Saber, and a Berserker. Known for freeing the slaves, and for being really tall. The anecdote about the sword involves a duel that he won simply by arming himself with a sword as tall as he was. And he was very tall.

John Dee - Book Keeper, Spymaster, mystic? The life of John Dee is quite spectacular, and despite his library being long gone, he once possessed some of the most powerful mystical texts in the world. 
Sun Ce - Older Brother of Wu Emperor Sun Quan. He is known as 'The Little Conqueror' and many believed he was a reincarnation of the famous warlord Xiang Yu. Considering Xiang Yu is a robot in this universe, it's not hard to justify some rather interesting modifications.

Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden - Called "The Golden King" and "The Lion of the North", he made Sweden one of the great powers of Europe, in part by reforming the administrative structure. His domestic reforms turned a hopeless land into a victorious nation with few rivals in his time.

Meleager - The guy who REALLY killed the Calydonian Boar. He was blessed with a piece of wood as a child that was considered his lifeline. If the wood ever burned, then he would die. Until then, he was a great hero. (The piece of wood will probably be the hardest thing to make even remotely balanced.)
Rama the First - The first king of Siam's current dynasty. He possessed a weapon called 'The sword of Victory.' When it first entered his kingdom, seven bolts of lightning crashed down upon the castle, and the sword is considered one of the prized possessions of the king's family. 
Astolfo - Pink Hair and Horror. (Canon)
Fierabras - A giant that fought Olivier and the Twelve Peers. He wielded three swords, one of which was stolen by Olivier. He was eventually made into a Spanish king. 
Crazy Horse - A native American chief, perhaps as famous as Geronimo. He managed to fight off the white settlers for a while, and is most famous for the lightning scar on his chest.
