Abbie sighed, as she listened to everyone recounting their experiences. Cancelled plane tickets, broken vans, and teleporting bikes. It all sounded like nonsense, even with Will's paranoid dead sister recounting the same wild story he did. 

Everything everyone said could be explained away. Gabi was poor, Will was delusional and probably sick in the head, and the pandemic wasn't even [i]officially[/i] officially over so of course things got canceled. Thinking weird shit was real was something people who were always going to be stuck in this town thought about, and Will was the exact type of person to try to push something like this. His sister's death had made him even weirder than he already was--and he was pretty frickin' weird.
