He was another one of the Norse gods, the god of mischief. She remembered vaguely stories about him cutting off Sif's hair or convincing Thor to wear drag to regain his hammer. He pretty much was connected to everything that went wrong for the Norse gods and every fiber of her being was telling her that she couldn't trust him. His image was flickering, giving her some comfort that he wasn't actually there - it was just an illusion, a trick. She took a breath, thinking over her words carefully before responding. It helped that she was rather quiet and introverted, already a person who took her time before speaking. "My father's a nobody," she said softly. "And even if he were... a god... I don't owe him anything." She paused, locking eyes with the god. She wanted to run back into the elevator and press another button. She wanted to get away from Loki, but she couldn't. He knew something about where Balder was - and maybe if she could rescue Balder, she could stop the end of the world from happening. She could absolve herself of that spiritual debt. "So I don't have any reason to make a deal with you... Loki. You'll have to find someone else to barter with." She didn't know what she was going to ask him for if he offered her a better deal - but she hoped that he might slip up slightly and give her another clue by accident.
