GM, before I post anything IC. I just want to get a few things straight concerning some things. I'm sure the other Players would like to know these things as well and might have questions of their own. When you say the Survivors are immune. Do you mean they came into contact with the strange illness in the past and only had mild cases from which they recovered from, due to their strong immune systems? Or something else? How do they know they are immune? Perhap could it be that some may have never come into contact with anyone who was infected, etc.? But could become infected in the future? What % Ediburg's original population has survived? How many people currently dwell there? How many days has it been since this strange illness first showed up up in the area around Ediburg? Concerning 'The Cursed' and the Mutated Ones. First of all what is the % is there one to another. Say for every 10 'Cursed', there is 1 'Mutated One? Do the two types commingle? What and what not are they capable of??? Are they intelligently directed or just operate on a instinct to feed. Can you compare them to similar entities that we the Players may of seen in Movies or on TV. Or other media, so we can better visualize things? Also are their groups of them surrounding the town. For example, do they to need be distracted away from the gates so that those who go outside can safely have the gates opened for them to leave and enter, etc.? Concerning the wooden walls around Ediburg. How are they constructed? How high are they, is there a walkway near its top, around its inner perimeter from which to fight from. Are their any defensive towers or gatehouses etc. Do you have a layout or map of Ediburg that we can have a look at. Are there other resources that need to be gathered and brought into Ediburg on a fairly regular basis? Say like firewood? What is the fresh water situation? Are there wells? How are the crops being watered. What is the current time of year? Late spring early summer? Have the farmsteadings and such that lay outside the walls of Ediburg been scavanged for anything useful? How far afield has anyone gone away from Ediburg? Where messengers sent to the more populous portion of the Province to seek some sort of aid and to find out what is happening there? If so, did anyone return? Who's in charge in Ediburg? A single individual or a council, or something else? What form does it take? Is it a from before the coming of the strange illness, or newly established? What is the rule of law and how is it enforced? What is the most common religion. Are there others normally practiced there? Are there any still operating churches or temple, etc. within Ediburg? What are their explanation for what has happen? What does local wildlife consist of, both predator and prey? Are there any known things in this world and specifically in the Province of Almira that might be referred to as being 'Monsters'? Beyond what has recently been manifested by the strange illness? Where in our own real world would the area around Ediburg be compared to. Both topographically and environmentally? My PC is a local, did anyone that was close to him survive? Members of his family or his betrothed? If so how do you as GM want to handle things having to do with that. Well I guess those are all the questions I have for now. I'm sure more will come to mind. Sorry if these questions are bothersome. It's just that the more detailed the setting is, the more immersive the game becomes. An the more invested I become in the game.
