Her body does typically levitate a fair distance above ground thanks to some specialized equipment, so when she's wearing her uniform or any other full-sized dress, she can at least present the illusion that she's of a somewhat normal height. However, the main reason why she's so small is quite simple; she's a quadriplegic, who relies on extremely complicated machinery in order to still perform her duties as a M.A/I.D. There are signs of burn damage around the areas where skin ends and metal begins, indicating that her cybernetic equipment had been welded directly onto her body in a somewhat crude manner.

[sub]Personality:[/sub]
She may seem to be a rather shy individual on the surface, but deep down, Zahava is trying her best to bury her true feelings. And because of that, she may come off as somewhat of an emotionless husk. She'll rarely put her two cents into any kind of discussion, and would rather just keep to herself while others around her do their own thing. Zahava doesn't tend to open up about her past, and would rather have those that're curious about it read her file. It contains everything one may need to know, and it saves her from having to open up old wounds when she would rather move on with her life and continue her service. Zahava's devotion to M.A/I.D. knows no bounds. She won't hesitate to get started on whatever task is issued to her, asks only a few questions if any, and doesn't demand anything in return. And even if she has initial reservations, she'll put them in the back burner and soldier on. She's not even afraid to get her hands dirty and take someone else's life if that's what she must do. This makes Zahava the perfect subordinate to have; she simply listens to instructions and executes them to the best of her ability. However, this makes Zahava selfless to a fault, as her blind faith may lead her into helping people with things they really shouldn't be doing. She'll even go so far as to take the fall for the entire team if something goes wrong in a specific mission. Occasionally, Zahava may hallucinate being in the aftermath of the explosion that had almost cost her her life. This is especially the case if she sees large pools of blood or a massive inferno of flame. Some say that Zahava was lucky to survive such a horrific incident, but Zahava herself doesn't see it that way. In truth, she views it as a curse as opposed to a blessing, as she is consumed by what's known as "survivor's guilt", and memories of that fateful day invade her dreams at night no matter how hard she tries to forget. It's safe to say that regular counselling is recommended for Zahava, although whether it will truly help her cause is anyone's guess.
[sub]Back Story:[/sub]
Zahava Gollancz had been conditioned into servitude ever since she was a child. She was raised, barely, by an abusive mother and a neglectful father in a poor household, and she was quick to learn the value of obedience. Every time she told her parents that she didn't want to do something, she'd get beaten. Every time she complained about the food, it was taken away from her and she was set to starve for the rest of the time. Every time she left a mess, it would immediately rubbed in her face; quite literally, in fact. There was just no winning for Zahava. All she was allowed to do was obey her parents' every word and endure whatever punishments lay in store for her. This continued on until Zahava was 11 years old, when her parents had thrown her out of the house in order to ease the burden of their own expenses. Unsurprisingly, Zahava had mixed feelings about being tossed out into the open world. On the one hand, she didn't have to suffer from their physical abuse any longer. But on the other... where was she meant to go? With no other option available to her, Zahava went from door to door, offering to work for the owners of each house as a maid in exchange for food and lodging. Eventually, after being turned down umpteen times, she stumbled upon a mansion owned by a man named Armon Levinsky and his fiance Netali Berlinger who, after taking the time to understand her situation, invited her inside and took her up on her offer, encouraging her to make herself at home. Armon and Netali contrasted heavily from Zahava's original parents, in more ways than just their sheer wealth. Not only were they significantly nicer people all-round, but they were calmer. More patient with her. More forgiving of any mistakes she made. However, they weren't always there for Zahava. On some nights, Armon wouldn't return home for a few days, and on others, Netali would be the one to not return home. There was even the odd night in which neither of the two returned home, and Zahava spent that night alone. It wasn't until Zahava turned 17 that Armon and Netali explained their long absences in detail, revealing that Armon was already born into the family of Thanatons, and Netali had been scouted by them through her efforts in Maidsong Academy. Both of them were conducting missions for the Thanatons this whole time, and had been doing so for as long as they remembered. Sure enough, Zahava was intrigued, and set to do her best in Maidsong Academy. Sure enough, the Thanatons recognized her talents, and drafted her for training just in time. A terrorist group was on the rise, and they had IEDs set up across the streets of key towns and cities in Afghanistan and other countries that made up the Middle East, disguised as unassuming regular vehicles so that the citizens wouldn't catch on until it came time for them to take their foothold. Zahava's first mission from the Thanatons, which she'd taken alongside a few other rookie contractors, was to escort a bomb squad to each of these IEDs so that they could be disarmed. She and her group were also tasked to kill anyone that engaged the bomb squad and, although she herself was reluctant to take another person's life, she quickly understood the gravity of the mission at hand and ultimately accepted it. Zahava proved to be quite the capable assassin in a pinch. However, in an attempt to pursue one of the terrorists, Zahava wound up separated from the main group, and noticed a small boy and girl playing on the street with a ball. Zahava smiled at the seemingly peaceful sight at first, until she saw the ball slip from the girl's hands and bounce towards one of the IEDs that had yet to be disarmed. With some quick thinking, Zahava raced over and pushed the ball back towards the children before it could make contact, only to trigger the IED herself when she landed backwards on the hood of the car it was disguised as. Needless to say, her hands and feet were blown off in their entirety and her back was burned beyond recognition, but the vast majority of the damage was done to the central area of her body. Her spine was completely shattered, and much of her insides and even her ribs had been penetrated by the shrapnel that was inside the IED. Thankfully, Zahava's heart and lungs weren't nearly as badly damaged, although it was evident that even they had taken a hit. It was considered a miracle that Zahava survived being caught in the blast of the IED, but her team couldn't afford to waste time. They immediately had a paramedic do what they could to save her the second they found her, and she was immediately rushed to a hospital. Her arms and legs had to be amputated, her kidneys and bladder transplanted, her digestive tract surgically repaired on the spot, and her reproductive organs removed in their entirety. It was safe to say that Zahava was out of commission for a long time. However, the talents that she showed in Maidsong Academy had obviously resonated within her original teacher in Annette Bakshi, as she did everything she could to restore Zahava to her former glory the minute she heard of her situation. Understandably enough, Zahava is now taking a break from serving the Thanatons and training elsewhere, but as soon as she's mastered the new cybernetic equipment that had been grafted onto her, she'll eventually regain the confidence she once had going into the academy.

Combat Information

[sub]Equipment:[/sub]

WR417H Poltergeist Driver x2: Effectively serving as Zahava's new hands, the WR417H Poltergeist Drivers are large hemispherical instruments hooked up to where her elbows would've been had her arms not been amputated, which allow her to telekinetically manipulate objects from up to 20 meters (66 feet) away from where they were originally positioned. There are no limits to the number of objects each Poltergeist Driver can lift at a time, so long the combined weight of all those items does not exceed 114kg (251lbs). It takes a considerable amount of concentration on Zahava's end in order to use these Poltergeist Drivers, especially if she attempts to manipulate objects with precision. The Poltergeist Drivers are also prone to overheating, and if they do, everything that they had a hold off will instantly drop to the floor, and they'll need approximately 10 seconds to cool off before they can be reactivated. Some of the things that will cause a Poltergeist Driver to overheat are: holding a heavy object for too long, applying too much force on all the objects, and trying to slow down something that is travelling very fast. Zahava can combined both Poltergeist Drivers to lift a single item that is up to twice as heavy as their maximum threshold, but if she does, she runs the risk of both of them overheating at the same time. Another thing Zahava has to keep in mind is that, for some reason, the Poltergeist Drivers are completely unable to affect flesh and blood. They don't make for bad melee weapons in a pinch though, especially not if they'd overheated.
6H057 Anti-Gravity Engine x2: These are what help keep Zahava's small body above ground so that she isn't forced to try and walk. There is a minimum power setting for the 6H057 Anti-Gravity Engines that allows them to levitate exactly 61 centimetres (24 inches) above any surface, be it water or land, and glide Zahava's body along at a human walking. Diverting any more power to the Anti-Gravity Engines stops Zahava from being able to use her equipped WR417H Poltergeist Drivers and disengages them if they're already active. However, it also allows Zahava to propel herself up to 45 km/h (28mph), perform all sorts of aerial acrobatics, soar up to 534 meters (1752 feet) in the air and hold herself there, and save her from a fall even if she were to be pushed off a plane without a parachute. The Anti-Gravity Engines are capable of taking up a lot of power if used this way, and as such, they should ideally be reserved for emergency situations, and not for showing off with reckless abandon.
NUKL135 Thunder Core: An internal power supply that takes the place of Zahava's reproductive organs in terms of position inside her body, and provides power for both the WR417H Poltergeist Drivers and the 6H057 Anti-Gravity Engines. While providing such power is the NUKL135 Thunder Core's main purpose, that's not all it can do. It can send electricity straight from Zahava's body to anyone that makes contact with it on Zahava's mental command. This is not dissimilar to how a taser functions, except it has more than enough power to kill anyone stricken by it. Covering Zahava's entire back is an outlet that has a total of 8 power sockets and 15 USB ports, which allows the Thunder Core to charge anything that is plugged into them. Zahava can also have the Thunder Core rapidly drain battery power from whatever is plugged into her back if she needs it to. At the top and sides of the outlet are metal brackets that automatically extend when the Thunder Core is low on power, allowing someone to carry her on their back with relative ease. These brackets have to be pushed back in manually if the Thunder Core is out of power, however. Assuming she's economical with her power consumption, Zahava can last up to 1,209,600 seconds before the Thunder Core is emptied from full charge.
Visionary Lens x2: Zahava originally had these special contact lenses on her person while she was under a contract from the Thanatons, and she continues to use them to this day. While they look no different from the normal contact lenses on the surfaces, the Visionary Lenses house special electronics inside that, upon specific verbal commands, can alter exactly what their wearer sees based on their needs. They can zoom in in order to see a certain section of surface at a microscopic level, or clearly identify someone from miles away. They can also provide night vision, infrared vision, x-ray vision and thermal imagery, among others. The Visionary Lenses usually come with their own individual charging station, which fits discretely in one's pocket for easy transportation. She has basic knowledge of herbs and spices, and she knows how to handle a chef knife. As such, she can assist anyone in the kitchen. However, she relies too heavily on a specific recipe or another chef's instructions, and doesn't have the bravery to experiment with flavors that she's unfamiliar with. Zahava also has innate knowledge on what forensic scientists look for, and as such, she can either remove any evidence in its entirety, or plant something else to make it appear as though someone else was responsible. She also doesn't have any hands or feet to leave prints with so, unless she hit anything along the way, it's difficult to deduce that she was even involved in the cover-up. This makes her the one of the best persons to clean up a crime scene if that's what needs to be done. Zahava's ribs and spine have been fused with molten metal that had been cooled. As such, they are stronger now than they were before they were broken from the explosion. The outlet that covers Zahava's back is also made from a titanium alloy, so she actually takes less damage from hits targeting her back than she would if she were to be attacked head on.

Miscellaneous Information

[sub]Main Theme Song:[/sub]
Dear Agony, by Breaking Benjamin ft. Traces of blood splatter and small flames aren't usually enough to trigger either of those phobias, but it may be worth ensuring she's OK and can continue working.
The biggest fear Zahava has, however, is being responsible for the failure of an important mission. She'd never forgive herself if that were to happen, and as such, she'll give it her all in each mission she partakes in, even if it costs her her life. She'd much rather take the assumption of a mission's success with her to her grave than live to know that it could never be salvaged.
