Just throw yourself into any Roleplay that interests you without any fear. I'll admit that I have very low self-confidence myself and it's worked out so far for me. If you ever need anyone to talk to, then my DMs are always open and my Discord handle is in my signature. I'll gladly listen to any vents, questions, or look over any of your work for you. It's always good to edit your work, of course, but having an editor is sometimes helpful too. 

Aside from that, I really recommend checking this [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/162563-articles-and-guides-index-updated-april-5th-2019-notify-lady-a-to-g/ooc]post[/url] out. These guides really saved my life when I first started.
