Anya
[@Blade17][@Squirrel98] Anya rolled her eyes. There was no way she would let anyone else leave the ship. Sunrise was less than an hour away, meaning that there was only a minuscule chance of the getting back before the departure. Before she could respond, she heard yells coming from the outside. Glancing quickly at Blake, she rushed out onto the upper deck. Quickly approaching Hope, she asked anxiously: '' What's going on? Are we under attack?''

Head Guard Val
[@Utrax] Val hurried after the prince while skimming through the Queen's letter. The description seemed to match the ship's exterior and if it was indeed the correct ship, Val had no doubt that scaring the crew wasn't going to help to get them to accompany them to the castle. Slowly catching up with the prince, the guard yelled out:'' Your Highness! At least take the letter''. Knowing that it was too late to stop Tol, the man hoped that at least he would read out the instructions. This is what he feared all along- with the prince enraged, the foreign crew would probably attack and hurt his men. Slowing down, mostly to his lack of energy, he called out, clinging to the last strand of hope that the prince would at least read what the Queen had to say: '' They're guests!''

Marcus
[@Utrax] Marcus stood still confused at the whole interaction before chasing after the prince. He had hoped that the group would at least make him show his wares to them as a way of confirming his story and it never crossed his mind that the prince would just take his lie at face value. Everything was going wrong and the crew was in bigger danger than before. With no other option, he yelled out, hoping that the crew would hear him and hide: '' No one is on board. Someone in this town poisoned them and I was the only survivor! I've come seeking revenge for my fellow traders''. It was a bad lie, he could admit, but if the prince believed the trader story, then he would probably believe this one. The guard's claim confused him. Was it possible that they confused the crew with some other vessel? They certainly weren't invited by anyone and definitely not the queen. What exactly was going on? He faltered slightly but decided to question it later, once the prince stopped trying to get on board.
