I admit that the number of players could use a boost. I like this roleplay and would enjoy seeing people have adventures here. 

As for the situation at hand. Though I am moderately ok with two latter solutions in case [@DrabberRogue] can't join in soon, I would prefer a deus ex machina over godmoding the character due to my philosophy regarding RP in general.
