He finds his voice very rarely, often leading others to assume he doesn’t speak fluent Japanese or that he’s dumb. Far from the fact, while not the most intelligent Caelum does have wisdom. His experiences have aged him mentally and disintegrated his tolerance for melodrama. That being said his morality is methodical in a sense. He puts forth great effort to be understanding and kind. Shoving his negative emotions: fear, anger, insecurity, and etc. into a all-too-cramped closet. At times, random small moments, moments that may coincide with topics of court, crime, murder, or justice, Caelum seethes and his vision blurs with rage. On those days, Kendo is all he has to let loose untethered.
Backstory
Japan was a fresh start for Caelum. After the ‘shitshow’ that was his mother and father’s unjust murder in 2018; his aunt and uncle thought it best he got far from America. The whole investigation and execution was sadly typical. At its core was ignorance but something else had prevented the justice he sought and he was spiraling into depression and reclusiveness because of it. Partially he struggled with the unknown of ‘why?’, subconsciously he recognized it was just a permanent twistedness in society. A year-and-a-half later, when he had begun to refuse food in slue of countless hours on the internet, 'chilling' Caelum called it. His aunt and uncle thought it best he went to live with his other uncle in Japan. Before the ‘Rip’ (what his uncle somberly called the change in Caelum) the boy had expressed a great love for those stylized cartoons and that jumbled language. In truth, Caelum was much like his father’s younger brother, so they thought they might relate better. Jasper Grove picked him up in the month of March and the two traveled back to Japan where his ‘rehabilitation’ went smoothly (on the surface). Life with Jasper has been stable but lately, his issues have begun swimming to the surface. Jasper's teaching position at Kenkōichi International Academy has made his life easier, if not completely, better.
Gear
In the hope that physical activities would ‘exorcise’ his anger, Caelum became heavily involved with Kendo. A nostalgic dream of his past self, he threw all his vigor into the practice. He’s often seen with his Shinai after school.
Persona
Achilles
Persona Abilities
Achilles connects to Caelum’s unsung rage. A legend of war his skills are deftly related to offensive Fire and Earth while his loose ties to the divine realm (coupled with Caelum’s search for truth and innate goodness) has given him limited access to Light.
