Aela kept stealing glances at Eric when she had the chance. Hoping Emily didn’t notice too much. When he apologized they made eye contact. Aela felt her cheeks flush slightly, she turned her head to regain her composure. Aela turned her head back in their direction smiled it seemed slightly off. “Don’t worry about it you two. You’re here and that’s what matters.” Music grew in a crescendo as she was asked to dance. “Excuse me, seems the dance floor is calling me. But I promise to catch up with you two. Make yourself at home!” Aela danced across the dance floor with grace and poise despite the growing ache in her chest. The effects were worse than she thought she’d have to endure. Aela held out until, the dance had concluded. “I’m sorry you will have to excuse me. I’m going to catch my breath. She retreated outside and sat down in the shade against the cold stone. She breathed in and out a bit roughly. Trying to catch her breath between coughs. “Why did the flare ups have to be so intense? And why did they have to happen now of all times.” Aela closed her eyes as a slight cool breeze moved through the garden. Not only that...something was bothering Emily she was close to tears. Aela couldn’t quite put her finger on the reason. But she had a feeling she’d need to check on her. The sound of footsteps caught her attention as she opened her eyes slowly. [@Vampiretwilight]
