Shinji:wonder aimlessly? I don't know what I'm doing, here. Everything you've said makes perfect-and at the same time- no sense at all. In my personal experience, everyone has their own definition of sanity. Its all subjective. Nothing about it is concrete.
*Laughs.* That's very true, but also false at the same time. One's own sanity is subjective, but that doesn't mean that there aren't shared common parts amongst others that can help improve one's own mental stability. It's like the shard fragments I talked about, you can pick and choose amongst those values and concepts you understand to become the kind of person you want to be while discarding everything else. But after the passage of time and the impacts of some experiences, it does oneself some good to re-evaluate who they want to be and take another look at what they're carrying around, especially if they're hurting themselves or breaking down under the pressure. So with that said, why not work off of what you already understand, and go from there? Or ask me about the parts that make no sense to you. So long as you're at least being proactive about it, you'll be getting somewhere.
