But he was going to keep a optimistic mindset. Putting on his earring and taking a moment to admire himself in the mirror; walking out of his room and heading towards the briefing room. Today is going to be a very exciting day; because the crew would be venturing though to unexplored lands. He was hoping to gather a lot of information about the fauna. Once inside of the room he sat beside Henry Jenkins. He knew Henry for the two years he was stationed on the Prize. The interaction he had with him so far was manageable; he was could not complain since he letting D'Artagan keep his job. For the most part he tolerated Dr. Jenkins. Listening to the briefing and of the task at hand. Usually he would go out to collect data or specimens for Henry; but it seemed this time he wanted to personally collect. He wondered if this had to do with that conversation he had with another biologist about this certain specimen being quite rare. It seemed to be another egoistical reason; wanting all of the credit; but the thought came into his mind why then did he did him to come with him. He was sure Elm and the others would be able to protect the least combat trained staff; he himself could defend himself but he was not sure what they would encounter on the planet. Notching the female that came into the room addressing them all; while she was speaking to them he was writing down as much information as he could. Someone he lived behind the wormhole; was curious what kind of information she knew. His eyes moving towards Jenkins; wondering if he was curious about the alien woman. But more then likely he did not care which disappointed D'Artagan greatly. Following Jenkins to the biology lab after the briefing; “Are you sure this is wise; i would be more then happy to go in your place” He felt perhaps he was asking too much of Henry. For the most part he was concerned for the well being of his superior and the others. Getting all of the equipment he and Henry would need for the trip.
