[center][sub][b][h2]Character Guidelines[/h2][/b][/sub]

[indent]There are a few rules and guidelines I'd like everyone to follow when they create their character. Please read over this section and the character sheet before working on a concept. In addition, please either PM me or post your character in the OOC tab for approval before posting here.

First, characters can be from any social standing, any profession, and any skill level. I only ask that characters be at minimum [i]sixteen[/i] years old, no younger than that. So long as your character has a solid reason for both [b]traveling[/b] and doing so [b]in a group[/b] then they will be welcome.

Second, please do not make a bigoted character. When I say bigoted I mean racist, homophobic, etc. People deal with that enough in real life. There are no fantasy races in this setting, so your character will be human. Humans are flawed creatures and they can have their prejudices, I only ask that they aren't based on another character's skin color, gender identity or sexual preference.

Third, you can play around with the character sheet, add colors and make it fancier if you want, but please... please please please do [b]not[/b] embed an image larger than 500x500. For reference the image placeholder in the CS is this exact size. Feel free to link a larger image in the "appearance" section, but otherwise keep the image at the top of your CS to 500x500 or smaller. If you need help resizing an image, let me know. A more concrete reason for traveling makes for a better RP.[/indent]
[h3][sup][i]Skills:[/i][/sup][/h3][indent]Definitely doesn't have to be exhaustive. Write about what your character is good at. You can do it in list form if you like. You can include things like navigation or good sense of direction, if they are proficient with a weapon, cooking ability, and if they practice any magic.[/indent]
[h3][sup][i][b]Meta[/b]:[/i][/sup][/h3][indent]This is the most important section! Spend some time talking about your expectations for the RP and your own character's story. Do you want a decidedly happy ending, or just answers? Of course, please also include things you really want to avoid in [b]your own[/b] character's story. For example, if you were dead set on not wanting you character to be the victim of a kidnapping, it would be important to let the rest of us know! Thanks.[/indent]

She likes to look elegant, and keeps her clothes clean. It's not unusual to see her in a new ensemble whenever she can get her hands on one. [/indent]

Her average looks don't help her much in the romance department, but her work ethic does. Grunhilda is always happy to lend a hand to her neighbors, especially if it means a new story to hear.[/indent]

She'd only know her fiance for a short while, but they both seemed to spark an instant connection. Although she found this odd, when questioned her fiance only said it was a tradition for his family. With blessings from the village, Grunhilda packed a bag and was off on the road to the mountain.[/indent]
[h3][sup][i]Skills:[/i][/sup][/h3][indent]Gossiping, cleaning, sewing and needlework in general. She can handily clean an animal hide and turn the skin into various things. She is friendly and has a silvertongue, or at least a bronze one. She knows extremely basic water magic and can create small amounts of water.[/indent]
