We had blogging sites in the early 2000s (Livejournal, Xanga, etc.) but it is true that blogging is more commonplace now. 

Moving on from that point, obviously I agree with Ammo's sentiment overall because they are [b]unequivocally correct.[/b] Role-playing has always been a hobby permeated by fickle interest and other factors. It hasn't changed in this regard, people just like imagining it has.
