Not a GM Post Cynthia, Pablo, and Vane “Sure!” Cynthia said, “My name is Cynthia, Cynthia Weissberg. I am from Germany but my mother is Filipino. I can create and control fire and water, my own lightning and ice, and I can also make it so that I don’t have to hurt anyone I consider an innocent with my powers with a moment of concentration. I like cats, teddy bears, and soft things as well as sweets, but I also like fighting when it’s a good cause.” Pablo then added, “My name is Pablo Legazpi. My Noble Arm enables me to ferret out information, including what powers one’s Noble Arm uses. For example, I know your Arm is more powerful than most of Virgil’s group except for Leonora’s - The second female member - And even then you can easily beat her if you’re not pinned down or charging straight at her. As for everything else… I keep a low profile.” Cynthia glanced at Pablo and said, “You know, you sound just like an edgelord when you say that.” “Oh,” the young man said with a blink. “Well, I didn’t mean to be one.” A pause, “Well, if you want to know what I like, well, I like sweet things too, as well as coffee and cake. I also have an interest in History and Literature, but it’s sorta waning.” A smile from Cynthia as she turned to Vane, “So, is that enough small talk for you?” A pause as the classroom door came into sight. “Well, we’re here! Hopefully, we get seats close to each other - You sound like a fun potential sparring partner!” [@Not Fungus] Jeim, then Pablo By some miracle, Jeim would get to the classroom at the same time as the others, and Pablo would go and get a seat close to the guy once they both entered. He needed to use his Noble Arm’s power on the secret Hammerite and expose the guy’s mentor as an exploitative ass who was only using him as soon as possible. Every second where Jeim was under the spiritual seduction of that man was a second where the Hammer’s ideology would ingrain itself further in Jeim’s brain, making the revelation that it’s essentially against the latter’s better nature and he was being used a more traumatic experience when it finally came. Another inner Truth: Pablo knew that this was essentially being selfish and that once he used his Truth power, the selfishness of trying to save Jeim instead of, say, Malenkov or even Virgil would hit him hard. The Truth was that he was trying to save Jeim out of… attraction, and that he was putting his own interests above the greater good he claimed to serve. That he wanted Jeim to be ‘redeemed’ when others deserved it as well and that his reasons for wanting to redeem Jeim first were selfish as f**k - Heck, they may even count as stalking, and Pablo was not happy with the potential label of ‘stalker’. At the same time, though, Jeim still needed to know the truth about his mentor - That was true as well. That secret cannot - should not - be kept away from the other youth. But where did unselfish motives end and selfish motives begin? Pablo's Truth power will reveal that for himself... [@WindsOfFate]
