Eric and Emily both nodded. Then, they both sighed. 
"Thanks."
-"Thank you. Don't worry about us. We'll be fine."

They let her take care of the dishes as they sensed the curse would trigger soon. And so, they ducked out of sight, especially when the sun began to set. They expressed a bit of pain, and then their forms had changed again. Once it was fully dark, they were in animal form once again. 


This time Emily was a duck. Eric, this time, was some kind of toad. They both had human sadness in their eyes as they looked at each other.
