While the techniques she uses are from the 18th to 19th Century, others attempting to replicate her technique cannot hope to achieve the same results.

A forcibly produced absolute safety zone. It also greatly heals the stamina and mana of selected targets.

Personality: Tara is shy and reclusive, she is fearful of other people though in a sort of twist is she not scared of the bizarre and the strange. Still she is a bright and innocent girl even if she has a sort of make-believe idea of how to interact with others based around ideas she got from old story books. Her genius is also very rarely displayed as she takes embarrassment showing it. She would much prefer to stay quiet and pretend to be learning entirely new concepts rather then admit she already knew them in order to try to make friends. The bags under her eyes are as a result of her personality flaw of always giving everything 100% effort to the point of sleeplessness and the things she has come to understand at her age resulting in the dead-eye look. 

She dislikes the mages association mostly as a result of the fact that as a result of the sealing designation placed on her families name she cannot live a normal life or interact with people in one area for too long because of the enforcers that would be dispatched. Still She hopes one day she can just relax and make tonnes of friends! mages or otherwise.

Hereditary Genius: A member of the proud Chiaroscuros family that is a long-line of thinkers and polymaths, the latest in the family line is no different, possessing the intellect required to wield their complex and unique mage craft. However she also inherent the weak constitution of body a blight that has cursed the family for generations. Layered Space - A complex bounded-field type magecraft that imposes the concept of non-euclidean geometry upon an area of designation. Layered Space is a incredibly complex Magecraft requiring an incredible number of calculations to be performed in order to prevent the collapse of the bounded field. Within the bounded space the geometry of the area is under the control of the magus that established the field. The Main caveat of the field is 'compression' or the ability to compress two points in space. The example of this is a manhole to the sewers, opening up into a labyrinth when you travel up through it. But traveling into the sewers when you travel down it. That is the power of non-euclidean applications Similarly it allows the seemless compression of space. Effectively allowing multiple things to occupy a single area or impossible means of travel to be ascertained. "Traveling upwards down a hill." Layered space effectively gives the Magus complete control over the geometry of an space. The more complex the geometry, the more thought processing is required. The family boasts of it as a "incredible defense and utility tool" 

Memory Partition - A magecraft commonly used by the Alchemists of Atlus, co-opt by the family for the need to perform an incredible number of calculations for Layered Space. Tara can manage up to six partitions. 

Thought Acceleration - The other magecraft commonly used by the Alchemists of Atlus and similarly co-opted in order to increase the speed at which the incredibly complex calculations for Layered Space can be performed with. Turning what used to be an incredibly slow and laborious task into something to be feared. 

Texture Establishment - Through the use of a Mystic Code resembling Menger Sponge, allows the establishment of a texture atop of the world that allows for the seamless deployment of bounded fields as long as the caster has the Mana in which to deploy them allowing the application of Layered Space in Combat.

Brief Backstory: A family with a history caked with controversy, but that is for the most part wholly unimportant for the nature of this war. The only importance is what lead to Tara joining. The Family wishs to find the 'hypothetical' formula for an impossible shape or "A shape which should not exist" creating a formula to find this 'impossible' shape would be impossible for the human mind. Thus the use of a wishmaking device to reach the computational output required to produce the formula was considered. Thus the little heiress to the controversial family's name was sent out to participate in this great grail war.
