Someone who was lost in her own world before getting lost in another. Most would describe her as withdrawn and detached, but the friends she has know her as creative and witty. Her sense of humor often comes at the expense of people and things she finds too ordinary to be worth her time, however, and she embraces the derision this has earned her from the "ordinary" masses.

Annette was born and raised in the quintessential suburban family, and it never suited her. She did well enough in school and at home, but she could never help but compare her life to those she saw on TV or read about in books. When she reached high school and found it nothing like what television had promised her, she knew she had to do something drastic. She entered her sophomore year with a new name, new hair, and a new identity in an attempt to become the heroine of her own story, and delved into all the "magical lore" she could find in an effort to make it stick.
After two years, she feels she has definitely forged herself into a different person than the idle dreamer she once was, but only time will tell whether she's a true visionary or a delusional hipster.
