[@levinfist] Yes, yes they did. [@The World]
While at first it may seem mechanically heavy and I've realised that I sorta frontloaded all the mechanics, a vast majority of the rp (in true devil survivor fashion) leans towards traditional rp, interacting with folk, figuring out what is going on, convincing others, etc etc. Fighting was of course to be reserved mainly for dealing with demons as they showed up, and the 'villian of the day' at the end of each day. In which case the system was created to prevent someone going all in on spiraling of control and soloing stuff, as I planned on keeping skills as faithful as possible (meaning the strong heal skills are really strong as are the strong passives). When it came to demon mutation also, due to the small group I considered that instead of a set tree, that the demons would mutate towards a players suggested end-goal demon barring exceptions (e.g Alice) as it was no intention of mine to truely drag down the RP in DnD mechanics, the mechanics were only introduced as a way to help manage 'combat' as well as to prevent a player spiraling out of control, all while maintaining faithfulness to the source (bar fusion of course would be much too complex to implement in a traditional rp sense).
Other then that! Glad to have you reading.
