Stewart followed her into the bathroom. She crossed her arms over her chest as he closed the door. Roxy tried to slow her heart. She didn't want to alarm Devika anymore than necessary. She was determined to keep the empath as safe as possible. Which meant keeping her in the dark until the bubble between them was stronger.
