Ashe was born into a military family. Always on the move, from town to town until, an attack by a villain on the military base her parents were stationed in, made her an orphan. 
At the age of 10, Ashe landed into an orphanage as she had no living family left. Her quirk manifested a bit before that and is the reason as to why she was able to survive the attack on the military base in the first place. 
The day her parents died, she promised herself that no other children will suffer the same fate and that promise burned even stronger into her when the orphanage life proved to be bitter at best.
Her quirks nature made it useless for battle and most hero schools didn't want to hear about her, that is, until she found an unknown school. Barely more than a normal school but it was better than nothing.

Ashe's body releases an aura around her which makes any thoughts that might do.her her of people around a 2 meter radius to her, to stop and new, non-violent thoughts to take their place unless the person inside the aura surpasses it by sheer willpower.
As time will pass, Ashe will be able to extend the aura to other people or redirect the thoughts to someone else instead of herself.
