Eric slept for some time. He needed the rest. 


Emily would have sighed if she were human, when she had glanced at her brother and Aela. However, her eyes were currently on the serpent. She was confused. Why did the serpents' eyes look familiar to her? She had a feeling, now, that she had met this creature before, at least at one time. She was not sure when or why. At least, she did not seem to remember, at first, anyway. 


Time would pass before she knew it. Sunrise would arrive soon enough....
