Her skin is of a dark amber hue and always warm to the touch. The hair atop her head a deep auburn, it is cropped roughly at the chin and usually tucked behind her protrusive elven ears. Renae’s large, almond-shaped eyes feature a black sclera and pupil, highlighting the iris as a distinctive, almost luminescent ring of white. Finally, featured on her upper arms, outer thighs and calves are important marks – a pair of small, black ovals purposed for releasing vapour to account for when her body temperature rises drastically for vastly extended periods of time. If these areas are obstructed, it will impact performance, as she becomes more vulnerable to a fast-approaching state of exhaustion. [b][color=orange]Personality[/color][/b] Renae comes off as a reserved and dispassionate individual to most who have no intention of becoming more than briefly acquainted with the girl. This is not to say that she is intentionally unfriendly in any way, as she is warm-hearted by nature and will go out of her way to accommodate for those she cares about. Though, considering her past, she has a hard time putting her trust in others. She often battles to keep conflicting emotions and aggressive reactivity in check when circumstances might force such a thing – this fight, she does not always win. Whilst many are led to believe that Renae has the emotional capacity of a rock, it is rather easy to get a snicker out of her. Without a doubt, the teen much prefers her time spent alone with music and movies, but still enjoys spending time with good company. [b][color=orange]Backstory[/color][/b] Renae was born amongst the impoverished streets of London an orphan, before a woman she would come to respect as a mother and teacher came to her aid. This woman trained Renae - instilled her with the fundamentals of mixed martial arts and eagerly encouraged her to explore the capabilities of her mutant abilities. The young girl eventually joined her guardian on jobs. This entailed capturing and turning in crooks within the underground mutant trafficking business - something Renae felt content to be a part of, especially alongside her only role model. This saint-like image, however, would soon become horrifically contorted by the mystery of the woman's background, finally coming to light after a number of years. The searing feeling of ultimate betrayal from such a revelation pushed Renae to an edge so far from reality - far enough that she ended up bludgeoning the man at the centre of the story, to death. The foreign, bitter taste of murder plagued the teen with twisting feelings of incredulity and disgust - her morals skewed beyond repair, it seemed. Terrified and nauseated by the thought of what heinous act she might commit were she to ever face her adoptive mother again, she fled. This enhances speed and energy levels. These gales become sharp as knives and can be somewhat controlled via the thermal energy that extends from her.
