Looking out the window of her brother’s Subaru, Lillie dozed off ever so slightly during their seven hour car ride to the drop off point. The two were silent, simply listening to the music playing on the radio as it played One Piece at a Time by Johnny Cash. Lillie blinked slowly, and looked out the window of the car at the passing scenery with drowsy eyes. With sleep in her voice, she asked her brother “[color=#FC80A5] Jack, Do you think I’ll make friends here or will it be like my old school?[/color]”

The man chuckled at her question and replied, “[color=#5FA777]Yeah, I think you’ll be able to make a lot of friends. I have faith in you, Cheesepuff.[/color]” He paused for a moment before continuing. “[color=#5FA777]Besides, you’re a sweet, outgoing girl. Give yourself some credit. What if I told Piper you were putting yourself down like this? You know what she would say.[/color]” Jack cleared his throat and began speaking in a mocking falsetto. “[color=#5FA777]Now look, Lillie. You are an amazing person, and I won’t let anyone put my little Cheespuff down like that. Not even you.[/color]”

Lillie giggling at her brother’s funny voice- knowing that Piper would definitely say that. “[color=#FC80A5] Yeah yeah. I know Jack. I guess I’m just nervous. We also have Discord to talk to each other. Come to think of it, I don’t think Keith and Scott have been on. I know they’ve been busy with College but you’d think we’d hear from them.[/color]” Looking down to her phone rubbing her thumb on the screen showing a group photo of all them at her Brother and Pipers graduation. She had worn one of her favorite dresses to it that Piper had helped her pick out: A pink dress with little white flowers and glitter. Thinking about it made her miss everyone even more.

Finally arriving at the shuttle drop off, Lillie slumped down in the seat. Thinking about how alone she is gonna be at the academy not knowing anyone, and potentially not making any friends made her even more unwilling to get out of the comfortable seat. She didn’t think her gift was all that special, solving math problems was something anyone could do- at least in her opinion. Jack put the car in park and looked out at the stop before saying anything. “[color=#5FA777]You’re gonna meet a lot of new people. And when you get to know them a bit more I know you’ll open up.[/color]” Getting out of the car they unloaded the military duffel bag Jack had given her with all the stuff she brought. Lifting the bag on to her shoulder with a bit a humf from the weight of the bag. “[color=#5FA777]You gonna make it there, Cheesepuff? That bag must weigh as much as you do.[/color]” He with a bit of a chuckle.

Lillie’s face turned red a bit, but she regained her balance. “[color=#FC80A5] I think so. It didn’t think it weighed this much. You made it look so easy. I should try and do some push-ups like you. Maybe I’ll be able to open the jars for Mom next time instead of having to ask you.[/color]” Finishing her statement with a little giggle and smile knowing full well that would never happen. Before walking over to the drop off Lillie turns to give Jack a big hug. “[color=#FC80A5] Give one to Piper for me too when you see her please. I love you, Jack. Be safe driving home.[/color]” She turned and headed off to the shuttle stop before turning back to watch Jack drive off before she got onto the bus.

 Finding a nice seat she places her bag down quickly pulling out her Switch not knowing how long of a ride it will be. Starting to hum quietly to herself hatching Eevee eggs wanting to find a shiny to evolve into a Umbreon. After a bit of time feeling her ears pop she looks out the window to see that she had traveled pretty far up the mountain. Not thinking of it engrossing herself back into the game.

Wellington Academy Front Gate[/right]

Not too long later, the shuttle came to a stop. She waited for the others to get off the shuttle as she stuffed her Switch back into the little special bag for it before shifting the duffel bag back on her shoulder. Getting off the bus, she looked for a place to sit while waiting on her cottage leader to come and find her. There was no way she could heft the heavy duffel bag for much longer. After a moment finding a place and plopping down and pulling out the letter that was sent to her. Looking over the letter again to make sure she remembered everything. “[color=#FC80A5]Venetia. If my research on the computer is to be true I’m looking for someone… very... noticeable?[/color]” Thinking about what that could mean, probably something colorful she thought to herself. Looking up to see someone pull up on a bright gold golf cart. Softly mumbling to herself “[color=#FC80A5]That would probably be her if I had to take a guess.[/color]” Throwing her bag back on her shoulder before walking over watching her talking to another person. Walking up and softly speaking to the loudly dressed woman “[color=#FC80A5]Ahh Miss are you Venetia? I’m Lillie, I think you're the dorm leader I’m looking for?[/color]”
