She admitted she didn’t dislike his apparent eagerness. A sly smile tugged at her lips in response. “Likewise. I’m Viv, short for Vivian.” Elias’ remark about the kool-aid made Vivian laugh, though she quickly stopped herself out of paranoia that her beneficiary might've decided to walk closer to the bar. Alexander remained at the pool table, however, when Vivian shot her head around for a quick check, feeling a sense of relief right after. She leaned in closer to Elias and spoke at a softer volume. “Yeah, no kidding, sounds like people who move there get indoctrinated in something or other.” A smile painted on her face again, now taking on a sarcastic tone. “He promised me they don’t chop people up in basements though, so that’s really fucking reassuring.” Vivian walked around Eli and reached for the whiskey on the higher shelves of the bar and decided to grab the tequila too. “Since I’m already here, I’ll just pour myself some of this.” She set an old fashioned glass and shot glass on the bar, filling the former with ice. With a bottle of liquor in each hand, she poured the whiskey in the iced glass and the tequila in the other. Vivian immediately took the shot of tequila then and there, and placed the used cup in the sink. After putting away the alcohol to their respective shelves, she picked up her glass of whiskey and took a sip. “I love the taste of free.” She gestured towards Nick and whispered, “Drinks are all on that guy back there today, so go wild. Anyway, see you later, boys.” Upon returning to the pool table, she noticed the placement of the balls differed from when she left. “Hey, looks like you made your move-” Oh. Vivian couldn’t help but chuckle once she realized what was different about the table. She set her drink down on the ledge, “It appears it’s my win! I should have mentioned this earlier, my bad. If you pocket the eight ball before all the others it’s an instant loss. How about a round 2?”
