Hello everyone!

I'm thinking of starting an NRP set in a fantasy version of the ancient mediterranean city states. You know, triremes, hoplites, togas and the like. The "fantasy" extends to a sprinkling of nymphs, centaurs and other suitable fantastic flora and fauna; we will primarily play as human civilizations. The fantasy is there as spice, nothing more.

As far as nations/city states go, I'm more interested in the concept than military numbers or intricate political systems. You will not have to explain your entire economy or every detail of your foreign relations - in fact I urge you not to. Let us explore that together in the RP.

So, in short: high concept greek-ish city states interacting in a fantasy mediterranean.
