This is something that's been jumping around in my head for well over a year now, only recently did I have the guts to pitch it to some friends. A slice of life idea centered around the people that work at Renaissance festivals and parks and such. Especially since I'm really needing to go this year - it's been hell. [s][i]2020 can suck it.[/i][/s] I don't know how big of a turn-out I will have in interest; ideally this will be a medium sized group. If not, I am willing to roleplay with a small group of at least five. There will be a small, background plot that can be utilized by the cast members but does not have to be. For the most part, this is character-driven and so players are to be expected to come up with their own plots. I will be setting up events for characters to react to, so players won't be totally stranded without direction.

Faire and Folly is a Slice of Life roleplay that follows the adventures of the employees and park goers of the largest Renaissance Park in North America. The day in the life of a park employee, actors as they're referred to, as they deal with orders, unruly patrons, and trying to make it to their next show while dodging and weaving the growing crowds. [i]All while staying in character.[/i] Or maybe you're a visitor, first time at a Renaissance Park and you happen to come on their busiest day. Will you be able to witness all that the park has to offer? There's always next weekend. New and veteran employees alike coming together the morning of opening day.
