While he enjoyed indulging Millie by eating the meals she prepared, they did nothing to truly sustain him. Human food hadn’t been all that satisfying since a long time ago, but it was fun to try and enjoy at times. Now, however, he needed to find the one thing that would satisfy him and kept him from draining Millie of all her blood. It hadn’t been hard to locate a victim as he walked past the clubs of the town. There was a young woman who was forcibly being kicked out of Trance, obviously still drunk as a skunk. There were some nice enough to ask her if she had someone coming to pick her up or if she needed a cab and Marius grinned at the perfect opportunity. ”There you are! Seriously you spent another night here? Seems like you didn’t get too lucky either. Come on let’s get you home.” He moved over and quickly put his arm around her to steady her. She looked up at him in confusion, but before she could say anything he thanked the bouncers and started leading her off. ”You say I didn’t get lucky, but it sure looks like I did.” The girl said with a giggle, her words slurring as she looked up at Marius. ”Is that so?” He responded while giving her a smirk, but continued on. The girl went about rambling about this and that, occasionally telling him how hot he was and Marius just let her as he led her off into the woods. She didn’t even seem to notice they were going into the woods until they were quite far away from any civilization. She began to look around, the slightest hint of worry now crossing her face. ”Hey wait a second, where are we?” ”A special place. I thought you wanted to have some fun?” Somehow these words wiped away that worry and she was now grinning seductively at him as she moved in and kissed him. He allowed it for a second before moving down to her neck, planting kisses there which caused her to lean her head back and moan. The moan soon turned into a shocked gasp, however, as Marius sunk his fangs deep into her neck and began to feed. She tried to struggle, but the shock mixed with the drunkenness proved the struggle to be futile. Soon she went completely limp in his arms and he finished sucking every last bit of blood from her. As he went to drop her, however, he heard the snap of a twig from behind him. He sniffed the air for a second and there he smelt another human. He smirked as he realized his luck. A gunshot went off, but Marius was gone from the spot he once stood. From the trees behind where Marius stood earlier stalked a young man, geared up as an obvious vampire hunter. From up in a tree the vampire watched his prey with amusement. The man seemed young and perhaps rather new to this. He wasn’t sure if he was a part of Operation Humanity or not, but either way he seemed like he’d be fun to toy with. ”Now tell me that isn’t the best you’ve got.” He said and he watched the man jump as he spun around and looked up at Marius before firing off another shot. Once again Marius was gone and now stood behind the man. ”Try again.” He said into his ear causing the guy to spin around. Before he could fire again, however, Marius disarmed him. ”Too slow!” He pulled the magazine out of the gun and threw it one way before throwing the gun the opposite direction. ”My turn.” He pinned the man up against a tree by his neck, all the while the man struggled. Then he tore open the man’s shirt before Marius plunged his own hand through his chest. The agonizing scream that escaped the hunter was glorious and Marius felt around for a second till he found the beating organ hidden in his chest cavity. He took hold of it and slowly began to squeeze as he also pulled the heart out of the man’s chest. He took much joy in crushing the heart and watching life leave the eyes of the hunter. He then dropped him to the ground and placed the heart in the man’s hand. He figured the man had some kind of tracker on him and whoever he worked for would eventually find him and the girl Marius had feasted on. He looked at both corpses with satisfaction before heading towards a stream and washing the blood off of himself. After his escapade in the forest, Marius was now strolling through the park. He was glancing at his phone and saw that Millie had texted him at some point. He read her text and grinned a bit to himself as he finally responded to her. Hello darling. Breakfast was quite the adventure, but very enjoyable. Have a wonderful breakfast yourself and I’m proud of you. Maybe we should go out for dinner tonight, what do you think? He hit send on the text and as he did he heard music coming from somewhere in the park. How interesting, perhaps he’d check it out. He took a drag from his cigarette as he slowly walked over to find a young woman playing her violin. She looked oddly familiar and it took him a minute to place her. Finally he remembered, having only seen her a couple times in his life when he was at the Sinclair Foundation compound visiting Catherine. He also glanced over at the dark haired woman who was watching Helene as well, finding her quite interesting as well as she definitely wasn’t human. He could smell the similar scent coming off of her and he wondered just how many vampires were out and about today. He waited for Helene’s song to finish before he dropped his cigarette butt on the ground and put it out while clapping. ”Brava, Little Princess. Your mother would be so proud.” He said with a sly grin at the woman. ”Speaking of which, is your mother around? I would love to have a chat with her.” He asked, not caring if the other dark haired woman overheard the conversation.
