She wishes to retell the story of those who came before. She wishes to strip the veil of lies placed by the victor away so that all may know where they had come from. She is short, 4ft5 at the best and a product of her parents and the dragon blood that ran thicker in their veins than most. She was born and foisted upon a group of monks at birth, abandoned by her mother who could not bear the responsibility of raising a half blooded child, and the indignity that it would have came with. A combination of her elvish heritage, the dragon blood in her and the lifestyle that the monks had raised her in, Thel has been able to retain a youthful appearance, though she suspects it may also be the constant exposure to old magic that her work often causes. She hesitates to explain her work and findings to others, especially Elves, as it often results in name calling and drawn swords. Capabilities: Golemancy - The magical art of imbuing 'life' into stone. Following an accident during one of her expeditions, she has taken a chunk of ivory stone from the Old Elvish Ruin that had stolen her old left arm. This stone has now been carved from top to bottom, and functions as a replacement limb. Golemancy, in order to be effective to the level that she uses it, requires a material that is "soaked" with magical energy. Normally this would require an object of such a nature to be created, but the stone she uses has already been treated, another mystery she hopes to unravel. Medimancy - A brand of healing magic of her own creation, it is fueled by the body itself. To efficiently use this brand of magic one needs an intricate knowledge of the mortal body, and in many cases direct contact with the wound. The user is able to either fuel the healing with the target, or the user's own energy. This is in essence, forcing the body to heal faster than normal rather than magically knitting flesh and bone together. As a result it can go wrong if used incorrectly and will leave scars and imperfections if the wounds are not treated correctly beforehand. Alchemy - Able to use trace amounts of her own magical energy to draw out the effects of many medicinal plants and other such materials, much of her research has lead her to the discovery of potions and concoctions whose method of construction have previously been lost to time. The ingredients often become more difficult to find, and even harder to obtain as the potion becomes more and more effective. She is able to concoct basic potions out of ingredients she finds, though these are much less effective than what she can make with more specific ingredients. Equipment: Ivory Limb - Left Arm Alchemical Supplies Journals and writing utencils - 10 full, 4 empty, 1 actively being used. Sacrificial Dagger - Nonmagical and completely unremarkable save for it's surprising durability for a dagger made of obsidian.
