The location will be given in more detail in the OOC but for your information, it's located within the South China Sea, somewhere east of Malaysia and north of Indonesia. 

Yes, the setting is deliberately designed with holes in order to give room for collaborative world-building. There will be a main framework of lore that will be provided within the OOC that players will build around.
