She was there to offer her hand in help to the new girl. She could see just by looking at Runa that she didn't look like she was having a good day. Dying and then being told to go retrieve your dead father would probably put Lara in the same state as Runa. She would wait for Arnora to reply before she would speak to Runa as she didn't want to overwhelm the girl anymore.
